Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1Arrive in Srinagar, Shikara Ride on Dal Lake
Our driver meets you at Srinagar airport or railway station and takes you to your hotel or houseboat. After you settle in, take a one-hour Shikara ride on Dal Lake past the floating gardens, Char Chinar and the lake's handicraft boats, ideally at sunset. Evening free.

Day 2Srinagar to Gulmarg, Gondola Ride
Check out and drive to Gulmarg (1.5–2 hours). After check-in, take the Gondola to Kongdoori and on to Apharwat if it's open. In the evening the day visitors leave, and the meadow becomes quiet: this is the reason to stay overnight.

Day 3Gulmarg Snow Day: Skiing Lesson or Sledge Ride
A full day in the snow. Beginners can book a two-hour ski lesson with a certified instructor on the nursery slopes, or try a sledge ride and snow scooter. Experienced skiers can ride Phase 2 for longer runs when conditions are safe. Equipment hire and lessons are paid locally.

Day 4Gulmarg to Pahalgam via Pampore
Drive to Pahalgam (about 4–4.5 hours). On the way, stop at the saffron fields of Pampore, the ruins of Awantipora and the cricket-bat workshops at Sangam. Arrive in the Lidder valley by afternoon and walk along the river in the evening.

Day 5Pahalgam to Srinagar
After breakfast, drive back to Srinagar (2.5–3 hours). Check in, then spend the afternoon on Dal Lake or shopping for pashmina, walnut wood and saffron.

Day 6Departure from Srinagar
After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar airport or railway station. Leave at least two hours for airport security checks.
