Terms and Conditions

Last updated:

These terms apply to all bookings made with TravelWiki Tour And Travels ("TravelWiki", "we", "us") through this website, by phone, WhatsApp, email or in person. By using our website or booking with us, you agree to them.

1. Bookings and payments

  • All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only after we receive the first payment and send you a written confirmation.
  • Payments are made in stages: 30% of the package cost to confirm, 75% by 30 days before departure and the full amount by 15 days before departure. See our refund and cancellation policy for details.
  • Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) per person on twin sharing unless stated otherwise. GST and other government taxes apply as applicable.

2. Prices

Package prices depend on season, hotel availability and transport costs and may change without notice until your booking is confirmed. After confirmation, the price changes only for increases in government taxes, fuel surcharges or entry fees outside our control.

3. Inclusions and exclusions

Only the services listed as included in your itinerary are included. Anything else, such as lunch, entry tickets, Gondola and pony rides, local union taxis, room heaters, tips and personal expenses, is payable directly by the traveller.

4. Accommodation

  • Standard check-in is 12:00 PM and check-out 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out depends on availability and may be chargeable.
  • If a listed hotel is unavailable, we provide one of the same or a higher category.

5. Transport

Vehicles are provided as per the itinerary. In some areas, such as Pahalgam, Sonamarg and Gulmarg, local unions require tourists to use local taxis for certain sightseeing points; these costs are payable directly unless included in your quote.

6. Changes to the itinerary

Travel in the mountains can be affected by weather, landslides, road closures, strikes or government orders. We may change, shorten or reroute an itinerary for your safety and will always offer the best available alternative. Extra costs caused by such events (for example an extra hotel night) are borne by the traveller.

7. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information when booking and carry valid government photo ID for every traveller.
  • Look after your own luggage and valuables, and follow local customs and the instructions of your driver or guide.
  • Tell us in advance about medical conditions relevant to high-altitude travel. We recommend travel insurance.

8. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations are governed by our refund and cancellation policy.

9. Liability

We act as an agent for hotels, transport operators and other providers. We are not responsible for loss, injury, damage, delay or extra expense caused by their acts or omissions, or by events beyond our control.

10. Use of this website

Misuse of the website or fraudulent activity will result in termination of access. We may update these terms at any time; the version on this page applies to new bookings.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Jammu and Kashmir.
