Planning a Jammu and Kashmir tour

The Jammu–Srinagar road is about 250 km and takes seven to nine hours, depending on traffic and weather. Check train timings on IRCTC and the yatra rules with the Shrine Board before you book. A Jammu Kashmir holiday package works best with a rest day after the yatra, so a Jammu Kashmir package trip of eight days is more comfortable than six.
