This policy explains what happens to your money if you cancel or change a tour package booked with TravelWiki Tour And Travels ("TravelWiki", "we", "us"). Please read it before you confirm your trip; your written quote repeats the key points.
1. Payment schedule
- To confirm the booking: 30% of the total package cost.
- 30 days before departure: payments should reach 75% of the total package cost.
- 15 days before departure: the full package cost must be paid.
For bookings made less than 30 days before travel, the amounts due up to that point are payable at the time of booking. Group prices may require a minimum number of travellers; this is shown in your quote.
2. How to cancel
Send your cancellation in writing to sales@travelwiki.org.in or on WhatsApp to +91 88999 71960, quoting your booking details. The cancellation takes effect on the day we receive your written request, and we confirm it in writing.
3. Cancellation charges
Charges are worked out on the total package cost and depend on how many days before the departure date we receive your cancellation:
- More than 30 days before departure: 50% of the package cost.
- 16 to 30 days before departure: 75% of the package cost.
- 15 days or less before departure, or no-show: 100% of the package cost.
Flights, train tickets, helicopter and Gondola tickets, and any service booked on a non-refundable basis follow the rules of that provider and may not be refundable at all.
4. Peak dates
Special offer prices do not apply from 20 December to 15 January, on long weekends, or around Holi, Diwali and other major holidays. Bookings for these dates may carry stricter hotel cancellation rules, which we tell you about before you pay.
5. Unused services
Once the trip has started, no refund is given for services you don't use, such as meals, sightseeing, hotel nights or transfers, including when a traveller leaves the trip early.
6. If we have to cancel or change your trip
If we cancel before departure for a reason within our control, you receive a full refund of the amount paid. If a trip is cancelled or changed because of weather, landslides, road closures, strikes, government orders or other events outside our control, we offer another date or a changed itinerary; any refund is limited to the amount our hotels and transport partners return to us.
7. Changing your travel dates
A request to change dates is treated as a cancellation and a new booking unless the hotels and transport can be moved. We will always try to move your booking first; any price difference for the new dates is payable.
8. Refund process
- Approved refunds are made to the original payment method.
- We process refunds within 7–15 working days of confirming the cancellation; your bank may take a few more days to show the credit.
- Bank or payment-gateway charges, if any, are not refundable.
