Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1Arrive in Srinagar, Houseboat Night on Dal Lake
Pickup from Srinagar airport or railway station and transfer to your houseboat. The afternoon is for slowing down: Kahwa on the deck, a Shikara ride at golden hour and dinner on board. If you have the energy, ask your host to show you the floating vegetable market route for an early start next day.

Day 2Srinagar to Gulmarg, Gondola Ride
Check out and drive to Gulmarg (1.5–2 hours). After check-in, take the Gondola to Kongdoori and on to Apharwat if it's open. In the evening the day visitors leave, and the meadow becomes quiet: this is the reason to stay overnight.

Day 3Gulmarg to Srinagar, Evening on the Lake
A slow morning in Gulmarg, then drive back to Srinagar (1.5–2 hours). Spend the evening on the Boulevard or with a sunset Shikara ride.

Day 4Leisure Day: Nigeen Lake and Shopping
A slow day on Nigeen Lake, the calmer neighbour of Dal Lake, followed by shopping for pashmina, papier-mâché and dry fruits with advice from your driver on genuine shops. Optional evening at the Boulevard.

Day 5Departure from Srinagar
After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar airport or railway station. Leave at least two hours for airport security checks.
