Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1Arrive in Srinagar, Shikara Ride on Dal Lake
Our driver meets you at Srinagar airport or railway station and takes you to your hotel or houseboat. After you settle in, take a one-hour Shikara ride on Dal Lake past the floating gardens, Char Chinar and the lake's handicraft boats, ideally at sunset. Evening free.

Day 2Day Trip to Doodhpathri
Drive about 1.5 hours to Doodhpathri, a wide meadow with a cold, fast stream and pine forest. It's quieter than Gulmarg and perfect for a picnic, pony rides and children who need space to run.

Day 3Day Trip to Yusmarg
Visit Yusmarg, a small meadow ringed by pine and fir about 1.5 hours from Srinagar. Walk to the Doodh Ganga stream or ride a pony to Nilnag lake. Return to Srinagar for dinner.

Day 4Day Trip to Gulmarg
Drive to Gulmarg (about 50 km, 1.5–2 hours) through Tangmarg and pine forest. Ride the Gondola to Kongdoori (Phase 1) and, if the weather allows, on to Apharwat (Phase 2); tickets are bought separately. Walk the meadow to St. Mary's Church and the Maharani Temple before returning to Srinagar.

Day 5Old Srinagar Heritage Walk and Hazratbal
Spend the morning in downtown Srinagar: Jamia Masjid with its wooden pillars, the Khanqah-e-Moula on the Jhelum, and the narrow lanes of papier-mâché, copper and spice shops. After lunch, visit the white marble Hazratbal shrine on the north shore of Dal Lake and return along the Boulevard.

Day 6Departure from Srinagar
After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar airport or railway station. Leave at least two hours for airport security checks.
