Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1Arrive in Srinagar, Shikara Ride on Dal Lake
Our driver meets you at Srinagar airport or railway station and takes you to your hotel or houseboat. After you settle in, take a one-hour Shikara ride on Dal Lake past the floating gardens, Char Chinar and the lake's handicraft boats, ideally at sunset. Evening free.

Day 2Day Trip to Gulmarg
Drive to Gulmarg (about 50 km, 1.5–2 hours) through Tangmarg and pine forest. Ride the Gondola to Kongdoori (Phase 1) and, if the weather allows, on to Apharwat (Phase 2); tickets are bought separately. Walk the meadow to St. Mary's Church and the Maharani Temple before returning to Srinagar.

Day 3Day Trip to Sonamarg and Thajiwas Glacier
Drive along the Sindh River to Sonamarg (about 80 km, 2.5–3 hours). Walk or take a pony to Thajiwas Glacier. When Zojila is open, local taxis go on to Zero Point for snow. Return to Srinagar in the evening.

Day 4Srinagar to Pahalgam
Drive to Pahalgam (about 95 km, 2.5–3 hours) via Pampore's saffron fields, Awantipora and Bijbihara. After check-in, walk along the Lidder River or ride a pony to Baisaran meadow, often called mini Switzerland.

Day 5Pahalgam: Betaab Valley, Aru and Chandanwari
Today you visit Pahalgam's side valleys in a local union taxi (private cabs aren't allowed in, and fares are paid locally): Betaab Valley's meadows and stream, the village of Aru, and Chandanwari, where snow often lingers into summer. Back at the hotel by evening.

Day 6Pahalgam to Srinagar
After breakfast, drive back to Srinagar (2.5–3 hours). Check in, then spend the afternoon on Dal Lake or shopping for pashmina, walnut wood and saffron.

Day 7Departure from Srinagar
After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar airport or railway station. Leave at least two hours for airport security checks.
